Followed by 2 hours of deliberations by the panel. There were so many auditionees, at such a high standard, the panel really had their work cut out. A very well done to those that got the part the wanted, and commiserations to those that didn't. It's never easy picking and choosing between our members, our friends, but thankfully the panel process enables us to get a broad view of opinions and ensures fairness at all time. With this particular show it was a very difficult decision whittling it down, but we are very pleased with our final cast :
Gomez - Jonathan Baron Morticia - Kizzy Romer-Lee Fester - Ryan Boath Grandma - Caroline Roper Lurch - John Winchcombe Mal - David Scanlan Alice - Ann Sinclair Lucas - Ollie Burgess Wednesday - Louise Ellison The parts of the Ancestors will be allocated later. 30/4/2014 Witches of Eastwick a hit with audiencesThe opening night of The Witches of Eastwick went without any hitches, and the show was really well received by our audience. As well as the conversations heard in the foyer after the show, there was loads of positive feedback on Facebook and Twitter. The most common thread being how professional the show was. Can't say better than that. We're thrilled and looking forward to the rest of the performances. Tickets are still available from The Lights box office 01264 335463 If you haven't got your tickets yet for our The Witches of Eastwick.... what are you waiting for???? This really is one of the best modern musicals to have been released to amateurs in recent years. The music is fabulous and the storyline, while a little risqué in places, is very funny. If you're not familiar with the storyline, please don't be put off, we promise you this production will be up to our usual standard, with some bold acting, powerful harmonies, toe-tapping chorus numbers, not to mention a cutting edge set-design, awesome lighting, and professional quality hair, make-up and costumes.
