The Pirates of Penzance
We are pleased to announce that in honour of our 50th Anniversary, we will be performing the classic Gilbert & Sullivan operetta 'The Pirates of Penzance' in November 2013.
In keeping with the modern musical theatre company that we are, the production will be a slightly updated version, but we are certain that you will still enjoy the melodic score and humorous script of this popular show.
This production will be Directed by our Chairman Carol Robinson.

Major General nominated for Curtain Call Award!
Eddie Nias, who played the Major General in The Pirates of Penzance, has been nominated by The Southern Daily Echo for a Curtain Award in the category 'Best Performance in an Opera'. They said "Eddie Nias as Major-General in Pirates of Penzance, Andover Musical Theatre Company. Superb as the manic Major-General as well as taking (joint) credit for two very professional-looking sets, lighting and sound design."
